Hilde Marie’s background in business, marketing and responsible tourism were the foundation for owning and operating a successful guesthouse in Siem Reap. The space embodied responsible tourism and was a leader in the region for other accommodation providers to adopt responsible tourism practices. A cornerstone piece of the guesthouse was its program to educate and empower staff, with an aim to support them through their choice of further studies.

Hilde Marie’s current educational purists focus on the broader application of how to educate others in wellness and positive psychology. She is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Positive Psychology and the study of Pedagogy. Her aim is to support others in creating a positive baseline to leverage self-empowerment in pursuit of their personal goals.
